This is another first for us...organising a COMMUNITY FAMILY DAY!
It's the first outdoor event organised together with MPSJ (Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya) to interact with the community in Putra Heights.
There were 3 categories for the children's colouring contest with age groups 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Total of 16 kids .... and all went home with P R I Z E S !!!
A Handicapped Home from Klang graciously came to entertain the crowd with 2 dance performances. Thank you!
Upon the declaration of start of the GAMES, families went round the different stations to try their hand at the games. POINTS were awarded for the games tried. 8 families participated in the family games and won home some hampers.
The rain resulted in an earlier wrap up of the event but the participants stayed back to receive their prizes and hampers. Hey! how often do we get to be caught up in such a downpour? with sheets of rain falling down between us? It's an experience!
We hope everyone had a great time, including all the helpers and volunteers.
