This year, out of 54 persons, only 34 were qualified to donate.
The main reasons for being turned down were :
a) high/low blood pressure
b) underweight (min. 45kg)
c) low haemoglobin level (at least 12.5 g/dl)
Many who came are regular blood donors. Some have been coming to our blood donation drive for the past 2 -3 years. A few were first timers.
We thank all who generously gave their blood.
Hope to see all of you again in 2016!
